color:
through-out the contents page the color is kept consistent to make it look structured. They used the red and black to bring out the dominant attitude comes with rock, which shows that NME are specificly targeting thier audience with thier color choice
pictures:
the main picture is a split between two showing that so much was going on in england which is amplifyed by the story under the main picture which doucuments all the events going on for 5 nights. the pictures also show a contrast between two diffrent scenes or genres this is shown by the teo contrasting sides haveing diffrent looks and diffrent types of instruments for example on the left you have the typical mod band which electric guitars and wearing suits where as the people on the left are wearing casual clothes and are playing a trumpit and a melodica
structure:
NME's structure is to have the main story in the middle with a picture and a brief write up on the story(this brings the main attension to the main story)and the rest of the storys on the right with a subheading above it(so people can find the type of story they are looking for better) and lastly on the left they have a band index showing what bands are on each page
